Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will meet and assist you with all customs and immigration formalities before escorting you to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. After breakfast, meet your expert Egyptologist guide and begin your full-day exploration of ancient wonders. Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza — Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos — and marvel at the colossal structures that have stood the test of time. Continue to the Valley Temple and the majestic Sphinx, the legendary guardian of this ancient necropolis. Later, travel to Sakkara to see the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the earliest monumental stone building ever constructed. Return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight in Cairo. Meals: Breakfast. Continue to the Citadel of Saladin, built in the 12th century, and the magnificent Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, a stunning example of Ottoman architecture. Afterwards, wander through the vibrant alleys of Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where you can shop for souvenirs and experience Cairo’s colorful daily life. Return to your hotel in the evening. After breakfast, enjoy a free day at leisure to relax or join an optional full-day excursion to Alexandria, Egypt’s Mediterranean jewel. Visit the Roman Theater, the mysterious Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, and the stunning Alexandria Library. View the historic Qaitbay Citadel and El Mursi Abu El Abbas Mosque from the outside before returning to Cairo in the evening. Overnight in Cairo. Meals: Breakfast.
