After breakfast, begin your guided tour of Islamic Cairo, founded in 641 A.D. by Amr Ibn Al-As. Visit the Amr Ibn Al-As Mosque, Egypt’s first mosque, followed by the magnificent Sultan Hassan Mosque, also known as Madrasa El Sultan Hassan. Continue to the renowned Al-Azhar Mosque, commissioned by the Fatimid Caliph Al-Mu'izz li-Din Allah, which remains one of Cairo’s most prominent religious landmarks. Conclude your day with a visit to El Hussein Mosque, believed to be the burial site of the Prophet Muhammad’s grandson. Return to your hotel in Cairo for overnight stay.
