Originally built in 1895 and famously captured by King Abdulaziz in 1902, the fort played a crucial role in the unification of the Kingdom. The afternoon is free to explore at your own pace. After breakfast, depart for a full-day tour to Ushayqer Village, about 2 hours from Riyadh. This historic village is one of the oldest settlements in the region, with traditional Najdi architecture, narrow lanes, and beautifully restored mudbrick houses, palaces, and mosques.
