Enjoy a full-day tour that takes you through some of Cairo’s most iconic sites, including the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, and the bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Starting with an 8:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza, you’ll be accompanied by an expert tour guide as you explore the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. You’ll also visit the Valley Temple, where King Chephren’s body was mummified, and stand in awe before the legendary Sphinx, with its lion’s body and the face of the king.
The tour then continues to the world-renowned Egyptian Museum in downtown Cairo, where you’ll enjoy a three-hour guided exploration of over 100,000 ancient artifacts. Highlights include the treasures of King Tutankhamun, featuring his famous golden death mask and jewelry, as well as statues and artworks from ancient Egypt (note: access to the Royal Mummies Room requires a separate ticket). Finally, you’ll head to the historic Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where you’ll have time to browse a wide selection of brassware, leather, perfumes, and other traditional goods. The tour concludes around 4:00 PM with a return transfer to your hotel.
