Itinerary
Day 1
Meet and greet at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at a hotel in Tbilisi
Day 2
After breakfast, we will start our walking tour in Tbilisi. We'll visit Metekhi Church, the sulfur baths, and Narikala Fortress, which offers stunning views of the Mtkvari River. Enjoy a coffee break in Old Tbilisi, then visit the synagogue, Sioni and Anchiskhati churches, and the National Museum of Georgia. We'll end the tour with a walk along Rustaveli Avenue. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 3
After breakfast, we will start our tour from Mtskheta, visiting the 6th-century Jvari Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Next, we'll see Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, also a UNESCO site. We'll then visit the Joseph Stalin Museum in Gori, featuring his original house and railway carriage. Our final stop is Uplistsikhe, an ancient rock-hewn town with a mix of pagan and Christian architecture. After exploring, we'll have lunch in the region before driving back to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 4
After breakfast, we will start our tour from Zhinvali Water Reservoir on the Georgian Military Highway. We'll learn about the Soviet dam built in the 1980s. Next, we'll visit Ananuri Fortress, the seat of the Dukes of Aragvi, and explore its historic battles and stunning scenery. We'll then stop at the Friendship Monument in Gudauri, overlooking the Devil's Valley. Finally, we'll arrive at Kazbegi to visit Gergeti Trinity Church, offering spectacular panoramic views. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 5
After breakfast, we will visit Bodbe Monastery, the final resting place of Saint Nino, nestled in the rolling hills of Kakheti. Next, we'll journey to Sighnaghi, the "City of Love," known for its romantic ambiance and breathtaking views. Explore its cobblestone streets, medieval walls, and the Sighnaghi Museum. Finally, we'll visit Tsinandali Estate, renowned for its winemaking tradition and cultural heritage. Explore the historic winery, lush gardens, and elegant mansion. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 6
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Departure.
