After breakfast, start your tour by visiting the National Museum of Saudi Arabia, established in 1419 as part of the King Abdulaziz Historical Center in Riyadh. This impressive museum covers Saudi history, the Royal Family, the kingdom's formation, and political context. It includes eight main halls: Hall of Man and the Universe, Arab Kingdoms, Pre-Islamic Era, Prophet’s Mission, First Saudi State, Unification of the Kingdom Hall, Hall of Hajj, and Two Holy Mosques. The museum features Arabian and Islamic art and architecture, including a prehistoric elephant skeleton, a meteor from the Empty Quarter, rock graffiti from the Hejaz region, a copy of the Rosetta Stone, and Madaian Salah rock-cut tombs. Enjoy a walk through the National Museum Park's outdoor gardens, then visit the Hall of King Abdulaziz with its showroom of old cars. Next, visit Murraba Palace, built by King Abdulaziz in traditional Najid style using local materials. Optionally, enjoy a Saudi lunch at Najd traditional restaurant. Then, explore Riyadh’s Souk Al-Zal, a historic market near the Masmak fortress, filled with traditional Eastern artifacts. Visit Al Masmak to explore Saudi Arabia’s roots, with exhibitions, historical artifacts, and a short documentary on the fortress's capture by King Abdul Aziz. Finally, visit Kingdom Tower, the tallest building in Riyadh, located in the Oalya district. The shopping mall has many facilities and cafes. Optionally, visit the Sky Bridge for a panoramic view of the city. End with a photo stop at The Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Mosque, known for its Middle Eastern architectural style. Overnight in Riyadh.
After breakfast, drive to Jebel Fihrayn, popularly known as “the Edge of the World,” 120 km from Riyadh. Standing atop the 1,000-foot high escarpment, you get an uninterrupted view of the horizon, giving the impression of standing at the edge of the world. The effect on body, mind, and soul is exhilarating. These cliffs rise dramatically from the desert, like a great natural wall. The Edge of the World is a dramatic geological wonder, part of the Tuwaiq Escarpment, dropping 1,000 feet into an ancient ocean bed. From the cliffs, you’ll see dried rivers and camels far below, following an ancient caravan route. Overnight in Riyadh.
Breakfast. Your Tour leader/ Driver will transfer you to the airport and assist you at the airport through final departure formalities.
